Introduction
Welcome. Its time you learned the truth, Neo.
What if I told you that everything you learned is a lie. That you must unlearn what you have learned. That there are forces at work you have not yet begun to understand. It all becomes very clear once you realize the truth. The truth is, there is no spoon. Let me explain
So you chose the red pill. Awesome. I'm Angus.
Purpose:
I wrote this guide because I felt the other guides out there are missing a crucial component of dueling strategy. KILLING the opponent. Ending the duel as decisively as you can, in the least amount of time, with the least amount of mana wasted. I'm not talking about interrupts. I'm not talking about DPS. I'm DEFINENTLY not talking about attrition. I'm talking about the shit that'll blow your grandma's socks off. I'm talkin bout that wombo combo mollywhop 3000. That good shit. That hally, xplo, poison, harm-burst-their-cure into a flamestrike punch for the kill type victories. I'm talkin bout finishes where you opponent genuinely stares at the screen after and goes, wow. I just got got. The best part is, all they can do is respect it. They don't see that shit often. It's decisive It's controlled aggression It's dynamic And it's very, very fun.
About me:
I enjoy dueling on UO Outlands and I got pretty damn good at it. If you know me as a dueler you know that I enjoy complex, fast paced, decisive duels that revolve around burst damage. Overwhelming the opponent with damage. Capitalizing on the enemies mistakes and converting them into a kill. KILLING the opponent. That's the goal after all. So yeah, I mastered burst damage and its fucking awesome. Not enough people wield the power and I want to enlighten the masses to its power, techniques and lethality. If you will take anything from this guide, I want you to understand that there is no spoon. If you watched the Matrix you know what this means. It means that your own mind is holding you back. Break out of the box that you've been indoctrinated into. Those guides out there got y'all playing like robots with your interrupt cycles and rigid, predictable patterns. Throw that shit out the window Well, keep some of it. We are going to re-work their uses. You will learn by the end of this guide that once you master these burst damage techniques, and truly embrace the burst damage philosophy, you don't need to play rigid anymore. You can play fluid, pure, and dynamic. YOU don't even necessarily know what you are going to do next. You just do it. You see a mistake you capitalize on it and go for the KILL. You put pressure on your enemy to commit those mistakes then you ATTACK. By the end of this guide you will see that interrupt cycles are NOT meant to just be spammed over and over again with no working path towards ENDING the duel. You will see that interrupt cycles are to be used as conduits for your burst damage attempts. You weave them between your kill attempts to keep the enemy in danger of your kill combos. Like I said, consider your grandma's socks blown clean off.
Let's get to it. I can talk about this shit all day. See the linked pages below to break out of the Matrix
